Do you keep stock of boats?
Yes, for our most popular surfski, kayak and canoe models.
Can I store my boat in it's cover?
Yes, please ensure the boat is dry when stored in the cover. Leaving a boat in a wet cover, and leaving it in the sun, can cause osmotic blistering, which is not covered by the factory warranty.
Can I get a custom design on my new boat?
You have a few options – for WWR and F construction boats, you can use the Nelo Design Tool. For SCS boats, you can use the Nelo Design Tool, Purchase a custom design or work with a designer from PaddleSports Design.
Do you airfreight boats?
We do not recommend air freight due to a high risk of damage.
If I choose to have my boat shipped, what insurance options are there?
We recommend getting insurance for transport.
What does my new kayak come with?
Our stock kayak’s come with a full carbon footrest and adjustable neoprene pull strap.
Can I store my boat in the sun?
We recommend always storing your boat in a cool, shady area. If you have to store it in the sun, we do sell UV covers, that will protect it from the sun’s damage.
How should I care for my boat?
Always rinse your boat with fresh water after use, especially in salt water, and wipe down with a chamois. Make sure to rinse the metal parts.
What can I expect in the custom order process?
We will work with you to get your custom designed Nelo ordered.
